mCallz: Aircall Alternatives for Mobile Sales Teams on the SIM You Already Own

Aircall alternatives are other ways to run a sales or support phone line, and buyers usually weigh three things: where calls are made, which numbers customers see, and what each seat costs once the team grows. mCallz takes the mobile route: your people keep calling from their own SIM, and the phone itself becomes the dialer, lead CRM and WhatsApp sender.

  • No rented number: customers see the rep's usual mobile
  • Auto dialer, follow-up alarms and lead pipeline in one app
  • Aircall's published prices shown beside ours, with the date read

Calls go out on each phone's own SIM. Dialer, CRM and WhatsApp for ₹4,000 per user a year (₹333/month), down to ₹208/month for bigger teams. GST extra.

  • Works on the SIM in each phone
  • Android, iPhone and web

The short answer

What are the main Aircall alternatives?

Aircall alternatives fall into two groups: other cloud phone systems that rent virtual numbers, and SIM-based mobile apps that work on numbers staff already have.

mCallz belongs to the second group. Instead of renting a line and answering on a laptop, a rep installs mCallz on an Android phone or iPhone and keeps calling from the SIM inside it. On Android the app becomes the default dialer, so every ring brings up where the lead stands and what was said last time, and every hang-up asks for a result, a note and a callback time in two taps. An auto dialer works through lists one number at a time, missed calls can trigger a WhatsApp message, and the owner reads each person's calls on the web. Aircall, by contrast, is a cloud phone system: on 20 October 2026 its pricing page listed Essentials at $30 per licence a month, billed annually, with a three-licence minimum. mCallz costs ₹4,000 (US$44.08) per user for a whole year on a team of up to 4, less per seat on bigger teams.

  1. Inbound teams that need a menu, a queue and shared numbers are better served by Aircall.
  2. Reps who sell from their own mobiles, often away from a desk, fit mCallz.
  3. The two can run side by side: a cloud line for reception, SIM phones for sales.

Benefits

Aircall alternative benefits for teams calling from mobiles

01

Familiar caller number

Prospects see the same mobile number your rep texted them from last week, not a new line.

02

Per-user price for the year

One yearly licence is ₹4,000 (US$44.08) on a small team, with no three-seat minimum for a two-person team.

03

Lead record on the handset

Status, remarks, products and reminders sit in the same app that placed the call.

04

WhatsApp in the base price

Auto messages after calls, bulk sends and a shared chat inbox are part of every licence.

05

Field staff covered

Selfie punch-in inside an office boundary, plus a map of each working day, come with the same account.

Where Aircall is stronger

Aircall competitors: where Aircall is the stronger pick

A fair comparison starts with what Aircall does that mCallz does not. Everything below comes from Aircall's own pricing page, read on 20 October 2026.

  • Inbound call handling. Aircall lists an IVR and call flow on Essentials, call queuing on every plan, and smart routing with queue callback on Professional. None of this exists in mCallz yet, though all of it is on the roadmap.
  • Business numbers. Each Aircall account includes one local or toll-free number, and more cost $6 a month each. mCallz uses the numbers already on your SIM cards and cannot issue new ones yet.
  • Calling from a laptop. Aircall offers softphones for desktop, Android and iOS. The mCallz web dashboard shows reports and can make your phone dial a number you click, but it is not a headset softphone.
  • Breadth of integrations. Aircall advertises more than 250 integrations. mCallz connects through Google Sheets, REST API imports, webhooks and a push to another CRM's API.
  • Call intelligence. Aircall lists AI transcripts on Essentials and AI call summaries on Professional. mCallz does not transcribe or summarise calls.

Where mCallz fits

mCallz vs Aircall for reps who live on their phones

mCallz was built for a different day at work. Picture a rep who spends mornings at customer sites, calls leads from the car park, and answers a WhatsApp between visits. That person does not need a queue; they need the right lead on screen when the phone rings, and a reminder that actually rings later.

On Android, mCallz becomes the handset's calling app, so the rep dials exactly as before. What changes is everything around the call: a full-screen card with the lead's stage and last note, a two-tap outcome sheet, follow-up alarms that sound even on a locked phone, and an auto dialer that moves through a list with up to three redials. The owner sees each person's calls in the team log without asking for a report.

It also suits markets where customers live on WhatsApp. Each call result (missed, answered inbound, outbound) can carry its own message, campaigns can be sent to filtered leads, and the auto dialer can even place calls through WhatsApp with a daily cap. Field staff punch in with a selfie and, if they switch it on, their working-day route appears on the web.

Pricing

Aircall pricing beside mCallz, per user

Aircall, as published on aircall.io/pricing on 20 October 2026: Essentials at $30 per licence per month and Professional at $50 per licence per month, both billed annually and both with a minimum of three licences. Enterprise is custom pricing from 25 licences, through their sales team. The page says monthly billing also exists and that annual plans carry a 25% discount, but it does not print the monthly figure, so neither do we. Add-ons listed there include WhatsApp in Aircall at $10 per seat a month.

mCallz: seats are sold by the year, and the price per seat depends on team size: US$44.08 (₹4,000, near ₹333 each month) for 1 to 4 users, US$38.82 from 5, US$33.56 from 10 and US$28.30 (₹2,500) at 20, with a quote above 20. Prices exclude tax and include no phone number, because calls use the SIM you have.

The two prices do not buy the same thing. Aircall's seat includes a business number and, on its plans, unlimited outbound calling within the US and Canada. mCallz leaves calls on each handset's current carrier plan, so count that bill too before judging which is cheaper.

Switching

Aircall alternative free trial: switching in five steps

You can test mCallz on a few phones before cancelling anything. A sensible order:

  1. Export your contacts and leads

Pull them out of your current tools into a spreadsheet file, or collect them in a Google Sheet.

  2. Start the free trial

Create an account on app.mcallz.com, put mCallz on two or three handsets and make it the Android dialer.

  3. Import the list

Bring in the spreadsheet or a JSON export; a linked Google Sheet keeps adding fresh rows by itself. Repeated numbers are removed and country codes sorted out.

  4. Shape the pipeline

Rename the lead statuses to match your stages, add tags and products, and assign leads to each rep.

  5. Run a real week

Call from the auto dialer, set follow-ups, and keep your Aircall line for inbound until you know which calls truly need a queue.

Honest limits

Aircall alternatives limits: when to stay with Aircall

Switching only makes sense when your calls look like ours. Keep Aircall, or run it beside mCallz, in these cases:

  • Customers ring one published number. If that line must greet callers with a menu and hold them until an agent is free, you need IVR and queues, and mCallz has neither yet.
  • Agents work from laptops with headsets. mCallz runs calls through phones. Its web dashboard is for reports and click-to-dial on the handset, not a browser softphone.
  • You depend on call transcripts or AI summaries. Aircall lists them; mCallz does not offer them.
  • You need predictive or parallel dialling. Each mCallz call is placed singly and handled by a live person; recorded robocalls are not part of the product.
  • Every rep carries an iPhone and wants hands-free logging. Apple keeps the call history away from apps, so recording SIM calls without a tap only happens on Android handsets.

Worked example

Aircall alternative example: a solar sales crew in Austin

A residential solar installer in Austin, United States. The business is an illustration, not a named customer.

7sellers, 5 in the field and 2 in the office
250new homeowner leads a month from web forms
$2,520a year for 7 Aircall Essentials licences at the published annual rate, before add-ons and tax
₹24,500a year for 7 mCallz users at ₹3,500 each (US$271.74), plus taxes

The installer's five field sellers spend most of the day on rooftops and driveways, and homeowners already know them by their mobile numbers. The two office staff set appointments from a list that a web form fills. Nobody calls in to a shared number expecting a menu; almost every call is a seller ringing a homeowner, or a homeowner ringing back the person they met.

With mCallz, the web-form leads flow into a Google Sheet, and the app pulls new rows in at set intervals. The office pair run auto dialer sessions each morning, and every call ends with a stage such as "Survey booked" plus a follow-up alarm. Homeowners who miss a call get a WhatsApp with the survey checklist. Field sellers punch in with a selfie, and the owner checks the team call log at the end of the day.

At Aircall's published Essentials rate, seven licences come to $2,520 a year, and that price includes a business number and calling within the US and Canada. On mCallz the same seven people fall in the 5 to 9 users band and cost ₹24,500 (US$271.74) a year, with calls riding on their existing mobile plans. The company and every figure here are invented for illustration.

Questions

Aircall alternatives FAQ

What is Aircall?

Aircall is a cloud phone system for business teams. Its site describes an AI-powered communications platform with softphones for desktop, Android and iOS, business numbers, IVR, call queues and more than 250 integrations.

Which Aircall alternatives work on a team's own mobile numbers?

mCallz works on the mobile numbers your team already has. It runs on each employee's Android phone or iPhone, so calls go out on their SIM and no virtual number is rented.

Is mCallz an Aircall alternative?

mCallz is an Aircall alternative that suits outbound and field sellers rather than inbound desks. It combines the phone dialer, an auto dialer, a pipeline of leads, callback alarms and WhatsApp automation on the rep's own handset.

How much does an Aircall alternative cost with mCallz?

Expect US$44.08 (₹4,000) per seat for a full year if you have up to 4 reps; the rate drops at 5 and 10 reps and bottoms out at US$28.30 (₹2,500) for 20, with tax added on top. No number rental is billed, since each rep keeps their own SIM.

How much is Aircall per month?

On 20 October 2026, Aircall listed Essentials at $30 and Professional at $50 per licence per month, both billed annually, with at least three licences. Enterprise is priced on request from 25 licences.

Is Aircall free?

Aircall is a paid service. Its pricing page offers "free access" to try it, and new accounts get 100 AI Voice Agents minutes, but the length of that free period is not stated there.

Is there an Aircall alternative free to try?

Yes. Sign up on app.mcallz.com and the trial lets you run real calls on your own phones before paying. After the trial, yearly billing works out to about ₹208 to ₹333 per user a month, depending on team size.

Does mCallz have an IVR or call queues like Aircall?

No, not today. Phone menus, hired numbers and queueing are all still in development for mCallz, so a team that needs them for an inbound line should keep a cloud phone system for that line.

Can I use mCallz from a laptop like the Aircall desktop app?

Not as a softphone. mCallz calls go through the phone; on the web you read reports and can click a number in Chrome to make your phone dial it.

Does Aircall include WhatsApp?

Aircall lists WhatsApp as an add-on at $10 per seat a month on its pricing page. In mCallz, WhatsApp automation, bulk sending and the chat inbox are part of every licence.

Can mCallz and Aircall run together?

Yes, as separate tools. A business can keep an Aircall number for reception and give its sales staff mCallz on their mobiles; mCallz does not plug into Aircall itself.

Will my leads move across from Aircall?

Your contact and lead lists can. Save them to a spreadsheet or a Google Sheet and load that into mCallz, which skips repeated numbers. Aircall call history and recordings stay in Aircall.

Do mCallz calls show my personal number?

They show the number of the SIM that places the call. On a dual-SIM phone, set a work SIM as the default for business calls and the personal number stays private.
