Hands-free calling for telecallers

mCallz: Auto Dialer App for Teams That Call Lists Every Day

An auto dialer app is a phone app that calls a list of numbers one after another without anyone typing them, so a caller spends the shift talking instead of dialling. mCallz runs that list on your own SIM, redials the numbers that did not pick up, and saves a status for every call.

  • Start a session from leads, an imported sheet or today's follow-ups
  • Redial up to 3 times, with a ring limit and a gap you choose
  • Switch the same list to WhatsApp calling with a daily cap

Calls go out on each phone's own SIM. Dialer, CRM and WhatsApp for ₹4,000 per user a year (₹333/month), down to ₹208/month for bigger teams. GST extra.

  • Works on the SIM in each phone
  • Android, iPhone and web

The short answer

What is an auto dialer app?

An auto dialer app places calls from a saved list in sequence, moving to the next number after each call ends, so nobody dials by hand.

mCallz is an auto dialer app for sales and telecalling teams that turns any list in the app into a calling session. A caller picks the source, such as filtered leads, an imported file, numbers from the call log, leads assigned by the manager or the follow-ups due today, and presses start. mCallz then dials each number on the phone's own SIM, waits the gap you set, and moves on. Numbers that ring out are queued for up to three redials, either at the end of the list, after a set time or straight away, and a call cut by the network is dialled again up to two times before the lead counts as unreached. A session can be paused, skipped or stopped from any screen, and the feature list these facts come from was updated on 14 October 2026.

  1. The caller only talks; the app handles dialling, waiting and moving on.
  2. Unanswered and dropped numbers come back automatically instead of being forgotten.
  3. Every finished lead lands in a Done tab that shows how it was completed.

Benefits

Auto dialer app benefits for calling teams

01

No manual dialling

The next number rings as soon as the gap you set runs out, without any typing or scrolling.

02

Fewer lost numbers

Redial rules bring back numbers that rang out, so a busy lead gets a second and third try.

03

Even pace across the team

An admin can lock the gap between calls, so every caller works at the agreed speed.

04

Honest "done" counts

A minimum call length decides when a lead is marked done, so two-second calls do not count.

05

One list, two channels

The same leads can be called over WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business when SIM calls go unanswered.

06

Clear hand-off

The Done tab shows whether each lead was finished by the dialer, a click to call, a manual mark or a transfer.

How it works

How the mCallz auto dialer app runs a calling session

Five steps from a raw list to a worked list. The session keeps running when you open another screen, so you can read a lead's history between calls.

  1. Pick the list

Choose filtered leads, an imported Excel or CSV list, call-log numbers, your assigned leads or today's due follow-ups.

  2. Set the rules

Choose the gap between calls, the ring limit, how many redials to allow and when they should happen.

  3. Choose the SIM

On a dual-SIM phone, pick which SIM the session uses, or keep your default business SIM.

  4. Talk, then tap

After each call the after-call sheet asks for a status, a remark and a follow-up, then the next number rings.

  5. Review the Done tab

Worked leads move to Done with the way they were finished, while redials wait for their turn.

Redial rules

Auto redial app settings that decide who gets called again

Most auto dialers simply skip a number that does not answer. mCallz treats an unanswered call as a task that is still open. You decide how many retries a number gets, from one to three, and when they happen: once the whole list is finished, after a delay you set, or immediately.

For a single important number there is also one-number redial, where you choose the number of tries and the gap between them. A ring limit stops each attempt after the time you allow, so a phone that is switched off does not hold up the session.

Calls that the network drops before they even ring are a different case. mCallz dials those again on its own, up to two times, before the lead is counted as not reached, so a weak signal does not cost you the lead.

WhatsApp calling

Auto dialer app over WhatsApp instead of the SIM

Some customers ignore unknown mobile numbers but answer a WhatsApp call. For those lists, mCallz can run the same session through WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business instead of the SIM.

Before it starts, the app saves the list to your contacts, because WhatsApp only calls saved numbers. When a lead is not on WhatsApp, mCallz asks whether to call that person on the SIM or skip them. A daily limit, 20 calls by default and changeable, keeps WhatsApp calling at a careful pace.

Honest limits

Auto dialer app limits worth knowing first

The mCallz dialer is built for people calling from their own phones. It is the wrong tool in these cases:

  • Predictive dialling for a seated call centre. mCallz dials one number at a time for one caller; it does not ring several lines at once and pass the first answer to a free agent.
  • Robocalls or recorded messages. Every call needs a person on the phone; mCallz does not play pre-recorded voice messages.
  • Calling people who have not agreed to hear from you. Telemarketing rules still apply to calls placed by an app, so check your country's rules before dialling a bought list.

Worked example

Auto dialer app example: an admissions desk working 300 enquiries

A coaching institute in Lagos, Nigeria. The business is an illustration, not a named customer.

6counsellors on Android phones
300new enquiries a week from a web form
2redials for every number that rings out
₹21,000a year for 6 users at ₹3,500 each (US$232.92), GST extra

Enquiries from the institute's website land in a Google Sheet, which mCallz imports on a schedule. Each morning the head counsellor filters the new leads, splits them across the six counsellors and locks the gap between calls at ten seconds so nobody rushes.

Each counsellor starts a session on their own share. Parents who do not answer are queued for two redials after the list ends, and anyone with a weak signal is dialled again automatically. Parents who never pick up a mobile call get a WhatsApp call in a second, smaller session. By the afternoon, the Done tab shows which enquiries were reached by the dialer and which were transferred to a senior counsellor.

Questions

Auto dialer app FAQ

Is there an auto dialer for iPhone?

The mCallz feature list says its iPhone app includes everything apart from access to the iPhone call history. Test list calling on your own iPhone during the free trial; on Android, mCallz can also take over as the default dialer.

What is the best auto dialer app for Android?

Callers who dial leads on their personal mobile numbers get the most from mCallz: dialling, redial rules, lead statuses and WhatsApp calling share one app. A seated call centre that needs predictive dialling should look at cloud dialers instead.

Is there a free auto dialer app?

mCallz has a free trial, so you can run real calling sessions before you pay. After the trial, a small team pays ₹333 per user a month, billed once a year, and that per-user figure falls as the team grows; GST extra.

How much does an auto dialer app cost with mCallz?

Billing is yearly and per user, and head count sets the band: ₹4,000 each (US$44.08) for 1 to 4 callers, stepping down to ₹2,500 each (US$28.30) for a team of 20. GST extra, and anything above 20 users is quoted on WhatsApp. The auto dialer is part of the app, not a paid add-on.

What is an auto redial app?

An auto redial app calls a number again by itself when the first attempt is not answered. In mCallz you choose 1 to 3 retries and whether they happen at once, after a delay or after the whole list.

Can an auto dialer app call through WhatsApp?

Yes. mCallz can run a session through WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business, with a daily limit of 20 calls by default that you can change. It saves the list to contacts first and asks what to do with leads who are not on WhatsApp.

Is an autodialer illegal?

Using a dialer app is generally legal, but the calls themselves must follow telemarketing rules, such as India's TRAI rules and Do Not Disturb registry, the US TCPA and the UK's PECR with its TPS list. This is general information, not legal advice, so check the rules where you call.

Which auto dialer app works on my own SIM card?

mCallz works on your own SIM card. Calls go out on the employee's existing mobile number, and on a dual-SIM phone the session can use whichever SIM you choose.

What happens when a number does not answer?

mCallz stops the attempt at your ring limit and queues the number for the redials you allowed. If the network dropped the call before it rang, the app dials it again up to two times first.

Can I pause the auto dialer between calls?

Yes. The session shows its progress and can be paused, skipped or stopped from any screen, so you can read a lead's history or take a break without losing your place in the list.

Can the dialer call only today's follow-ups?

Yes. Today's due follow-ups can be dialled as one session, which is the quickest way to clear promised callbacks before starting new leads.

Can a manager control the speed of calling?

Yes. The gap between calls is adjustable and an admin can lock it, and a minimum call length decides when a lead counts as done, which keeps team numbers comparable.
